Secrets

I was browsing through the Woolworths at Albany Creek looking for homewares for my new unit. I picked up a coffee table book that I like and was trying to match all of my bowles and plates etc around this stupid book - it was witchcraft by the way - with a gnarled tree on the front and blue and pink feathers falling from the branches, all with a silver fleck through the picture. Bloody hard to find plates like that!

All of a sudden I was holding this little puppy - couldn't have been more than a few weeks old, and I was carrying him round talking to him, calling him "little fella", that was his name. Some other family fell in love with him and stole him from me and said they were going to train him to win the Melbourne Cup (I know he's a dog, not a horse... made sense in my dream).

Then I met up with my new boyfriend. We were walking around arm in arm looking for glasses for the unit, and I saw Dad looking at fruit. I panicked and ran out the door to my car and told my bf that I'd meet him accross the road, where Dad won't see us.

Strange, he had the same car as John (but this wasn't John...). We met in the land clearing accross the road and started looking through this old shack that was on the property and found all of these Thai rituals - really scary things like ball clamps! :S

There was an old house at the back of the property and it belonged to a girl I went to school with, but who no one liked. She was dirt poor and always smelt like Petrol. She told us it was because she was an apprentice mechanic.

An older lady walking her dog with her husband (They happened to be Blyth Danner and Christopher Walkin) were disgusted because they saw me and my boyfriend making out and proceeded to discribe in detail how they saw us kiss.

The little boy I was all of a sudden babysitting, decided he wanted to go home. Turns out he lived in that old shack, and Blythe knew it wasn't good for him to go home. The girl from my school appeared wearing a hessian sack fashioned like a banana and turned on the hose. The hose started pouring gasoline and she asked me to soak her with it. She was so proud all of a sudden, it was her chance to be a hero and show us why she really smelt like petrol. Apparantly their dad was an abusive drunk, and the only way to wake him up to let them in the house, was to douse herself with petrol and be hoisted through his bedroom window and be thrown out again by the drunk. This could cause her to explode into flames, the kids could call the police, and drunk daddy would be forced to let the kids inside. Pretty effed up way of getting your parent's attention huh... Long story short, we doused her in petrol, but I wasn't strong enough on my own to through her through the window, so all of the people watching were helping to throw her (cheerleader style mind you) through this window.

Woke up...

Chuck Bass

Ahhh.... the always amusing Chuck Bass dream....

Rather un-sexy this time around, I found myself in a limosine with Chuck and Serina, asking Chuck why he was wearing Mascara... He replied by asking who this new guy in town was that looked exactly like him, but with better eyelashes?! haha

I was then standing in his bathroom, looking in amusement, as Chuck had imported all of these props from a japanese game show, including one very large inflatable pool filled with bouncing blue and white balls, because this new 'imposter' was Japananese and Chuck wanted to better him at his own game....

All in one night

I've recently downloaded an ap on my iPhone which monitors your sleeping patterns each night. It tracks your movement which it's highly sensitive motion detector and can determine from this the stage of sleep you are in eg. awake, dreaming, deep sleep. Last night must've been a challenge for it, as I had quite a few dreams, which I'm bursting to write before I forget, because they're quite enjoyable!

The first dream, I was in an elevator with an old Chemistry lecturer of mine, Dr. Bottle. The elevator was going down, but it rocketed to the ground with such force, it shattered the bottom or the floor. The doors slowly opened and we were in some underground world and everyone was either a zombie or a vampire or some sort of underground creature trying to kill us. We fought off the zombie kids by kicking them in the head and threw out the mummies by spinning them around until they were dizzie. The doors closed, and I saw Steve (Bottle) was talking to a new friend he'd made. The elevator, like a cartoon, started to lift and travel in all directions with a picture map showing out destination. All of a sudden, it dawned on me that our new friends wasn't a good person, and like that, he turned into a giraffe. We settled the score by telling him we would take him to the forrest, and directed the elevator to land in the woods. Then the dream turned into Avatar...

The second dream I had was more realistic, but I woke up very upset. I was speaking to my best friend Carla in America, as that's where she's been living for the past 6 months. She was telling me that we was admitted into hospital, because her headaches were getting really bad and they were just going to do some more tests. She was getting sicker and sicker by the day and when I spoke to her next, she was telling me all these stories; She was getting a free spray tan! that day, she told me, and then the nurses are taking me shopping! I started crying and asked her "carla.... will you be coming home again?" and she started crying and said "no.... today is my last day".... I woke up pretty shaken after this dream...

The third dream I had seemed to be at an amusement park or large outdoor shopping center, but I was in a tour group with other young people, and we were learning about the correct way to be with another person, without crossing any boundaries. The nuns that were running this tour, were using large pointy sticks and wacking anyone that was too close to their partner. Cook, from Skins, showed up and started throwing bombs because he didn't like boys having relations with girls, and then the park was in dissarray. People were running everywhere. I found my mum and we decided we were very hungry, but all of a sudden, everything was back to normal and people were working in the food stalls. We went to an asian stall, and Mum ordered a plate of spinache with prawns and salad. (VERY unlike her, she hates seafood). I was waiting for my dish, and Byron walks past, saying he could give us half price rissoles.

Eventful night? I haven't even been watching movies or tv to spurn these thoughts.... strange...

Break and Enter

Last night I found myself lurking outside a house I once delivered Jewellery to. Being homeless, I proceeded to break into this house via the back door and creep towards the master bedroom. Perhaps in some sudden jolt of morals or common sense, I decided that I shouldn't be there, so I ran back out the front door and through the garden.

In haste, I was worried I woke up the residents, so I was determined to get out of that garden as quick as I could. Obstacles stopped me in my path, my number one fear was holding me captive. Spiders... It was my choice to be paralyzed by fear and be caught for my wrong doings, or use every once of courage I could muster and run through those spider webs as quickly as I could.

I was covered in webs and writhing in the fear that I could be also dotted in arachnids, but I ran and ran as fast as I could until I reached a cross roads. Not remembering which way I should choose to get back to the city, I looked back to the house, where the mother, wearing a white night gown, was standing on the porch staring at me. I ran back and forth between the two roads of possible destination, finally choosing the road to the left.

Sprinting along the road, trying to get away from the people I just intruded upon, I hear footsteps behind me. The children were chasing me, trying to find out what I wanted with their house.

This seemed to last forever, until, in Forest Gump style, the whole family were running with me. I think they accepted me into their family, and running alongside me seemed to be the way to stay together.
