Break and Enter

Last night I found myself lurking outside a house I once delivered Jewellery to. Being homeless, I proceeded to break into this house via the back door and creep towards the master bedroom. Perhaps in some sudden jolt of morals or common sense, I decided that I shouldn't be there, so I ran back out the front door and through the garden.

In haste, I was worried I woke up the residents, so I was determined to get out of that garden as quick as I could. Obstacles stopped me in my path, my number one fear was holding me captive. Spiders... It was my choice to be paralyzed by fear and be caught for my wrong doings, or use every once of courage I could muster and run through those spider webs as quickly as I could.

I was covered in webs and writhing in the fear that I could be also dotted in arachnids, but I ran and ran as fast as I could until I reached a cross roads. Not remembering which way I should choose to get back to the city, I looked back to the house, where the mother, wearing a white night gown, was standing on the porch staring at me. I ran back and forth between the two roads of possible destination, finally choosing the road to the left.

Sprinting along the road, trying to get away from the people I just intruded upon, I hear footsteps behind me. The children were chasing me, trying to find out what I wanted with their house.

This seemed to last forever, until, in Forest Gump style, the whole family were running with me. I think they accepted me into their family, and running alongside me seemed to be the way to stay together.
